TAJ
There was a lot of noise coming from the Cube this morning. I know the nesting box is big, but I had 6 fighting in their. My black orpington takes up 2/3rds of it on her own and is broody and will not be moved, the dorking (also a large hen) has gone broody - I wouldn't mind, but this old girl very rarely lays, so she has a bit of a cheek going broody! A smaller home bred one has also gone broody and found a corner. ..so numbers 4-6 (barnvelder, maran & plymouth rock) were sitting on top of the layer of broodies trying to lay, but not happy about it.
