Chortle Chook Posted May 10, 2012 Share Posted May 10, 2012 Vidal Sassoon's death is a real time marker for me. A Vidal Sassoon salon in London was the first ever hair salon I went to. Till then my mother or sister did my hair. It meant 'growing up' for me, even more than my first boy friend as for the first time ever I had a hair style rather than just drippy, long hair.
