freddie Posted May 16, 2012 Share Posted May 16, 2012 Went on a free day course yesterday, learning how to lino cut and print. there were only 4 of us !! Had a great day, am not brilliant, but it's the first time, so was very cautious! Am doing another free one on Thurs pm, with DD , Pottery relief tile.... Adult learners week here, and there is something doing every day, free. Although some courses have been cancelled due to lack of support!!!!! They are all free!! chickencam Posted May 17, 2012 Share Posted May 17, 2012 My ED is experimenting with printing techniques to add to her A level art coursework, she has been using a mini grinder to carve patterns in wood and is also going to have a go at lino printing, they get extra marks for using many different materials and methods. I joined in just on the second evening class and had a great time - I loved the lino printing and we talked about chickens briefly and egg skelters! Hope you enjoyed it too, and at the bargain price of 0!!, I've got 2 week to go until DD breaks up, then we'll be setting up in the spare room, and giving it a good go, mess everywhere!! fancy printing on cloth next, I have the paint!!
