Well, after lots of time, we have moved house and got the wir :D Collected 2 16 week old columbines on Saturday. They were really timid to start with, but I managed to pick one up tonight for a cuddle! They are in a seperate run at the moment inside the wir. The 2 ex batts haven't made too much fuss, so will try some supervised free range at the weekend.

Great you will have to let us know what colour eggs they lay. Ours lays a light blue egg and is a really lovely chicken quite friendly compared to my others and jumps up on the shelf to greet you like my oldest and friendliest our cream legbar is more aloof. Mine is a gingery colour similar to our welsummer some of them were quite pale I wonder if plumage colour makes a difference to egg colour?
