Isobel
I am trying to work out the sex of my 6 week olds and I would be really grateful if the "answerers" above could tell me what the give-away is? Is it the comb? Thanks!
miller30
You can normally sex pekins by 6 weeks some earlier yes if they have comb and wattles this big and red they will be boys the girls can have a bit of a comb but it is really pale pink leanne
Redwing
yes its the comb and wattles, females are more yellowy
Purplemaniacs
A boy I am afraid. I have two pekin bantam chicks and one is a boy and one a girl. Sadly the boy is very pretty and was poorly when tiny so I had hoped he was a girl but his comb and the practice crows are giving his identity away he is just over 8 weeks now.
