Auto feeder open and close button on app

This is Twinkle, bantam brahma nearly 4 weeks old. I'm pretty sure its a girl, Twinkle feathered up

really early & there's no sign of red wattles. Any opinions?

 

this is little Giblet, who we think is blind. Giblet is still very small & late developing. I was sure

it was a boy but now I think maybe a girl. If a girl then, depending how she is coping, we may be able

to keep her in a smallish run with a small friend

From my limited knowledge I'd say Twinkle was a boy because the comb is already starting to look quite pink compared to Giblet's. Even the tail feathers look quite tall and proud from that angle (can't really see their shape).

I think the top one might be a boy. That is a heck of a tail for a 4 week chick.

I think twinkle is a boy and Giblet is a girl too

Sorry comparing them to my chicks same age I have at least one boy as well

Well I was sort of comparing Twinkle to mum Spotty at the same age, similar comb, but none of the chicks

last year were as advanced as Twinkle, they (girls and boys) had bald patches at this age. Twinkle can

practically fly she's so well feathered. Much to my disappointment I'm now tending to agree with you all,

Twinkle's comb & wattles have developed some redness this afternoon that definately wasnt there

yesterday! Must be the sunshine! sigh...
