We had our first egg yesterday from our new chickens. Isn't it great! My mate made me weigh it & it was 50g. 8)

Can't wait to see if we get any today.

I don't think those light sussex chicks we got will be laying many eggs. :evil: They are "cock-a-doodle-dooing!" we reckon 4 out of the 6 are males, typical! :roll:
