Purplemaniacs
As you know, with lots of advice from you all, we did our first ever hatch at Easter and to our shock and panic one of the eggs hatched on day 17, while we were still turning the incy and the little chick rolled over two rows of eggs. The little silkie bantam chick was called Tumble Tumble is now thirteen and half weeks old and is practicing his crowing. I am so disppointed I wanted him to be a her so we could keep our first ever hatchling. He sounds so funny at the moment he puts in loads of effort and this little sore throated crow comes out . Chortle Chook
Tumble is just beautiful, Chrissie! Are you absolutely certain you can't keep him? I have a silkie boy and he is such a lovely chap - a very gentleman amongst chickens and "Ooops, word censored!"ody complains about his crowing even though I live in terraced housing. As for the photo, don't worry about it going large and small again, sometimes Photobucket just does this but if you have done the right steps it seems it works out ok eventually of its own accord. zakjon-98
He's so white! My light Sussex used to be that colour before she discovered the dust bath It's a shame you can't keep him can't you talk to the neighbors and see how loud he gets?
