newcountrygirl Posted July 26, 2012 Share Posted July 26, 2012 (edited) Yesterday I used my computer - accessing emails, browsing etc. Suddenly yesterday evening I thought I would check my emails as I am expecting an important email. When trying to log into my Tiscali (Talktalk) email account a message with loads of text kept appearing saying: HTTP status500 Server encountered an internal error preventing it from fulfilling request. Then a load of script the it said Root Cause Org apache.jasper exception file not found exception. I am a total dunce regarding computers . I thought I would leave it until today and hope it had resolved itself but it hasnt - I am still getting the same message. Help please! I'd ring and report it (it's almost certainly been reported already but if it's an extended outage and you want to complain later you need to have reported it). Something to do with Java. I sound so knowledgable dont I? Ha ha - haven't got a clue really. Just glad it is working. I am in the process of sorting out a large number of people from all over the country to do marshalling duties at a motorbike rally (Yorkshire Pudding Rally) next weekend and need to access my emails regularly - so a big relief.
