So, I have a discounted but brand new green Eglu Cube; http://i.imgur.com/XzmiX.jpg I have two frizzle's, Sabrina and Olivia; http://i.imgur.com/emv3q.jpg Three hatched together no-name Brown Ranger hens; http://i.imgur.com/SWneM.jpg Finally, two bantams that we aren't sure what they is (apart from hens). Conan and Cookie; http://i.imgur.com/gCy5q.jpg http://i.imgur.com/auSTb.jpg One of the unknown bantams is Silkie cross we think. Sabrina is the most dominant of the bantams, she's followed around by Cookie. Olivia protects Conan and snuggles up to her. Olivia, Cookie and Conan are 17/18 weeks. We thinks Sabrina is a week older because she is bigger. The three BR's don't tend to peck the others unless they get in the way. The bantams stay on the opposition side of the run to the bigger birds. There does tend to be a sense of packs - the three bigger birds, who stayed in the coop for most of the day today, are one group. Sabrina and Cookie are another. Olivia and Conan are another.
