Lesley - that is gorgeous. Do you use a single needle for the needle felting? Or do you have one of those clover tools with lots of needles in?

Emma - I use both sorts. I do have a Clover tool but I find it quite gentle and it probably works better if you have the Clover 'hairbrush', I use a foam pad. The Clover works better on large areas as a finishing tool. I also have a wooden handle which takes 4 needles and I can choose which size I use in it. Mostly I use a single needle without any handle at all, a size 38 does most things.

 

The single needle is best for fine applications.
