OH has volunteered himself to do the music at our local rugby club. We are trying to figure out what song would be good for playing when a try is scored. Obviously, the bit played would be just a few seconds long, before the PA kicks in and announces who has scored, so it has to be one short catchy upbeat line, preferably rock music .

 

Any ideas?

Queen are good for that kind of thing I think. Flash or We will rock you for example. For some reason I don't know the Navy sing Kaiser Chiefs - Ruby. It could be something rude I really don't know but it works.

I've been a few places where they play Blur's Song 2, the Woo hoo bit. Will have a think what else I've heard being played, hubby will probably remember better than me

Thanks for the suggestions, they are all great and I think would be fab. OH wants to use something that other clubs are not using, but has had some obscure suggestions from the supporters forum For now they are not using a celebratory song, which is a bit boring I suppose but he is sticking to his guns
