craftyhunnypie Posted September 25, 2012 Share Posted September 25, 2012 Pretty dire here. Rain rain & more rain! Absolutely horrible & cold. Been getting drenched doing the animals. The chooks are not impressed, although they have their rain hoods & shelters about the place. Today I caught about 6 of them cuddled up with the pigs in the pig ark - whilst the piggies were snoozing. I had to laugh. It's a bit of a mud bath in parts of the pig pen, but we are not moving them into the other new fresh pig pen until we hire a boar. I can't wait for the weather to crisp up. I'd much sooner have frosty weather & dry sunny days. At least I can wrap up & be dry, instead of wrapped up & soggy. I hope everyone is safe in this wet weather. Old Speckled Hen Posted September 25, 2012 Share Posted September 25, 2012 Yes, spoke to hubby at home and he says it's rained all day. Been sunny in London with a few showers.
