New hens not going into Eglu Go Up

is going well The girls have made £4 Obviously, I'm only selling my excess, but when I put them out with my sign they seem to go quite quickly I only sell them for £1 per half doz, but until then I had been giving them away, so I happy to get £1 for them. I now have a lady who runs a B&B nearby who wants a regular supply. She came round this morning and met the girls and told me she brought some the other day and they were wonderful She wants them every week. Betty even laid one while we were chatting, which I let her take and she was delighted

 

It all adds to the fun of chicken keeping

With my two girls having now flown the coop (the human ones that is) I now seem to have lots of eggs. I was thinking of advertising any spare on our FB community forum - first come first served. I have to say though that putting them outside would probably be easier - does this work for everyone - anyone had any just taken and not paid for?

I've got a local lady in the cake making business who buys our eggs, as well as neighbours and passers by

 

Last week I bought this online

 

 

and the lovely lady who made it apparently lives not too far away from me. She posted my apron, all neatly packaged, through the letterbox for me and emailed me to say she'd bought some of our eggs before she got back in her car She emailed me again a couple of days later to say that the eggs were delicious
