Egluntyne
You'll have a wonderful time. Mind that the Yorkshire omleteers don't pitch up!
abwsco
Well, it's costing more money now as we need hedgehog wheel covers on to use our golf trolleys Mind you they are a good idea anyway and we'll get use out of them. Also, not sure how DH would react if a group of forumites pitched up

PurpleTree
Ooh my sister-in-law had her wedding there about 6 years ago. It was lovely, I remember the grounds are great. We only stayed the one night & had our eldest, who was a toddler at the time, with us. So didn't get to use any of the facilities. Breakfast was good though (although hubby was so hungover he couldn't eat anything ) Hope you have a great time
abwsco
Well it was all over too quickly and we didn't want to come home. Got 15 holes of golf played on the Sunday before the light went and played a full round on Monday - well DH played the full round I only did 15 as was too shattered. Blumming hard work pushing a golf trolley up hills particularly when some of them slope on the sides as well. Hotel was awesome (Bill Clinton, George Bush and Desmond Tutu have stayed there) staff brilliant and food amazing. The bathroom with a walk in shower, double sinks and double whirlpool bath plus TV was nearly as big as our bedroom at home Chrissie, hedgehog wheel covers are these things and thanks for the birthday wishes
