good_egg
So, having posted on here about whether to let our girls out all of the time to FR as foxes weren't a problem our poor neighbours had a visit today. They lost one girl and another has a bitten neck, they are now down to two. It's so sad as they have had no problems for the 18 months since they rehomed and their girls have been completely FR. We are both now considering some form of walk in run to try and keep our girls safe. My OH has been completely against but in the light of the news is considering - his major concern is the visual impact (our girls are quite visible) - is there anyone who has an omlet WIR in Scotland who wouldn't mind us coming to nosey? Ain't Nobody Here
I don't have an Omlet WIR but you'd be more than welcome to come and see my Aviaries4U WIR (seeing as you're just down the road ).
zakjon-98
Such a shame Glad your girls are safe though. Omlet walk in runs do look nice but I personally wouldn't pay as much as they are for them.
Luvachicken
I wish I lived in Scotland... Anyway, I got a WIR and we attached it to my cube run. We painted it with shed paint and I think it looks nice. It is at the 'back' of my garden, which is only 30 feet long, so the neighbours can see it - even more now the leaves have fallen from my tree, but no one has said anything. And my girls are safe which is the most important thing. I'm sure your neighbours won't mind what you have. I don't know how to post a link to my post of my run but there is a post on here that shows almost everybody's runs in the run section. That might help you decide what to do. good_egg
Might have to take you up on that Ain't "Ooops, word censored!"ody Here - they look good WIRs too. Will have a look for your pics luvachicken, do like a good nosey at other people's set up. Mr Fox has really thrown us all, from never seeing one to an attack in an enclosed garden in broad daylight with them in the house - hopefully mr gamekeeper will meet him.
