The Dogmother
How does this work? I logged onto my Hotmail account on my mobile phone, something that I rarely do but I was out and needed to see if a reply had come through to an urgent email I sent. I saw various other emails in my inbox, none of which I opened. When I got home I logged onto my Hotmail on the computer and couldn't see any of those emails... nor are they on my phone I have synched my phone accounts and all the stuff you'd expect to do, so my question is; has anyone else had this happen and what can I do about it? Geoid
Have you tried searching your inbox? I would also recommend switching to GMail too, you can set it up so all your email are saved (I have saved all my emails since 2007, and only used up 6% of the storage space), you can also add your hotmail account too. The Dogmother
Yes Fred, I have tried searching; I guess they're just lost in the ether I have a gmail account but only for Google/Android registration purposes, I don't actively use it as I prefer Hotmail. Cinnamon
Had a similar thing recently with Google Mail, then I found out that emails get auto deleted after 30 days, unless you set it up otherwise. It doesn't sound like that in this case though.....
