Hayleybug
I think it should be fine or you can swap them for some longer bungees from B&Q to attach tothe WIR. the eglu is actually inside the WIR though rather than attached to the outside. would only be able to bungee to one side (the eggport side). not too sure this would hold it on properly (and im a bit ocd with things like this, wouldnt like it to be all wonky and ill-fitting even if it sort of did the job!!) not sure why they havent designed one to be used without the official run really as so many people use the eglu alone- they are losing out on a few more customers i think! sandyhas3chucks
would I be right in assuming that this is attached by maybe 4 bungees like the run covers????. if so then in your WIR you could either use a long bungee or 2 and thread it under the Eglu arm pit, or even thread a piece of thin rope.. you can get some aesthetically pleasing looking rope either in a camping shop or a sailing shop... come to think of it you can get some thin black elastic from a windsurfing shop. cut to a length you require.. this should be good for your OCD
good_egg
We considered using the sticky plant ties to hold on - don't ask why. Not sure how to explain, but they have a round sticky pad and then like a cable tie (reusable) attached. You could attach to eglu and tie cover on as required? libby22
So can I ask at what temp do you put yours on and then off again??? Hi, I put the jacket on when I know it will be freezing or below overnight. It does make life easier. You can gain access to the door opener etc with ease and just shake the ice off the jacket and pop it back on.
