abwsco
Who do you use and if you've had to claim would you recomend them. Renewal is due so getting bogged down with figures. Do you have legal cover? Want new for old cover but am not bothered about extra accidental damage now. Thanks
Olly
I usually go to Moneysupermarket.com and go with the best buy - I couldn't honestly tell you who I'm with this year, I know I have cover and the paperwork is upstairs somewhere. I've had a couple of burglary claims over the last fifteen years but I can't remember who they were with - they were both settled fairly promptly though. Cooks
I am with More Than. Although I have buildings and contents with them as they gave me the contents cover free with the buildings cover.

bettyhen
NFU for us......I stopped using compare sites for contents insurance after we tried to claim for a laptop that our giant retriever stood on.... Couldn`t claim because the small print excluded any damage by pets or pests Asked NFU and they cover damage from all beasties !! (wanted or unwanted)
Lesley
NFU here as well, we've made a couple of small claims and never had any problem.
Cinnamon
We went with M&S when we renewed a couple of years ago,as it was the best cover for us. We run a business from home & it was the only one that gave us really comprehensive cover on the house, plus the garage & sheds contents. All was fine until last year when we had a burst pipe in the garage. We phoned to check our cover, which was ok,but we then decided NOT to claim as my Husband repaired everything himself. However, when we renewed M&S tried to double our premium because we had made a claim,or at least phoned up to enquire about making a claim Took some pretty strong words to get them to sort it,I can tell you
Redwing
We are with the Co op The very very best company we have ever dealt with by a long way is a company called Select and Protect. Little known but well organised with good customer service, prices are quite high but the service is second to none (and thats coming from an ex customer service manager with high standards!) We only left them because we got our insurance thrown in with the mortgage when we renewed
