pixiewish
Hi, after some advice. One of my chooks is looking slightly pale and moulting. Otherwise she seems chirpy enough and is still laying. Just wondered what you would all recommend to give her to give her a boost? The other two chooks seem just fine.
Luvachicken
Life Guard Tonic is good for hens that are moulting.
LottyJ1
Yep life guard in water is great and I give mine a bit of tuna as a boost to help with regrowth.
mimi5
Nettex do a product called "Total moulting solutions" which I heard several people give a good report on and plan to use it next year for my pekins. 3 of my mine did moults this autumn and it really does take it out of them. Another tip I got from the Dogmother is to give tinned pilchards in tomato sauce (did this recently for my Molly and she seemed to like it) It's extra protein they need for feather formation. Best wishes for your girl
