I have an innovis 750e made by brother, most of the time it behaves but every time I get someone want a specfic item custmoised and they provide the item it always without fail tries to eat it, I have spent ages just putting a persons name on an overall, halfway through it started eating the overall, luckily I managed to figure out that it was the arm that cuts the thread that was catching the top thread and pulling everything down.

 

Im new to this all had a successful christmas with many orders and earlier today I did my first in the hoop project a cute little purse, but when it plays up I end up in a fit of curses and tears , my freind is going through the same issues and her machine has just come back from being serviced

 

Please tell me theres hope x

From someone with no experience of embroidery machines. I've heard talk of some machines having a problem with the thread cutter or a burr on the throat plate maybe. Have you tried a new needle and perhaps a different stabiliser may help .

Lol yep I have my check list however the little monkey (i call it much worse) decided to play ball in the end .... fingers crossed it keeps being nice as Im preping for an easter fair

Great, it's so frustrating when your best friend misbehaves
