HennyPenny59
Hello Everybody Does anyone know if BioDri and Nettex Ground Sanitiser do the same job? Ive noticed that Nettex deals with worm infestation in the ground, but I cant find anything to suggest that BioDri does this too. Thankyou
mimi5
I wondered that very same quetion!!! I recently finished my tub of nettex ground stanitiser and did some research for a larger tub (more economical) Found the 3- nettex bio-dry and stalosan f. Well I decided to give the stalosan f a go as it worked out much more resonable on price!! But it does turn the woodchip pink and I'm not mad keen on the scent either! Where as the nettex one smelled lovely! I can reccommend the nettex ground sanitiser!!! Just wish it was cheaper!! Also wondered if alternating products would be a good idea?? I keep the cube sited and have woodchip down.
HennyPenny59
Well, ive looked everywhere for more information on BioDri and it does seem as though its not anti parasitic, and just a disinfectant, so im going to order some ground sanitiser and (as you suggest mimi5) alternative the two products

suebee
Well I decided to give the stalosan f a go as it worked out much more resonable on price!! But it does turn the woodchip pink I too, use stalosan f, and agree with the pink disadvantage. My chooks often get it on their muffs and beards. Makes them look like they've got rosie cheeks!... .... Not to mention my pink departing footprints on the lawn, after I've been sprinkling it... The Dogmother
BioDry doesn't kill off worm eggs, but NetTex Ground Sanitising Powder does and so does Stalosan. While I'm not averse to the scent of Stalosan, it's very powdery and as Nicola O has observed, it is easy (on a windy day) to get it in your nose, and it hurts like hell. I wouldn't bother alternating them Mimi5; just sprinkle a wee bit of the NetTex one over the litter in your run each week, then when you rake it all out, sprinkle it over the earth (or whatever you have) before laying down new litter. It goes quite a long way and it takes me awhile to get through a 5kg tub.
