Friendly Fox?

That is not uncommon. I'm afraid it doesn't mean he's friendly - the fact that your hens don't seem bothered may indicate that he's a regular visitor, and they are used to him, as my hens have got used to various cats (not all of them mine). He's probably tested the Eglu defences, and knows he can't get in, so he's biding his time until they are out of the run.

 

From his point of view, he probably thinks he is sunbathing in HIS garden!
