quickcluck
Wondering if any veggies out there make there own? I realise I could mash up veggie sausages, but this is an expensive way of doing things........ I fancy making a old fashioned sausage & egg plait but veggie style...... and ideas??? Thanks K
Lavenders_Blue
I have never made veggie sausagemeat before, I'm not even sure I'd know where to start! Would Granose Sausage Mix do the job maybe?
quickcluck
I will look into it. Never used mixes. Thanks for the heads up
Lewis
I made a few batches of Veggie sausages + sausage rolls and froze them at Uni last year They were really good! I used a similar mix to that posted but got mine in the Organic shop a couple of doors away from us in Aber
Cinnamon
Bit off topic, but if you haven't tried McSweens Vegetarian Haggis, then I recommend that you do - it is heavenly
sadietoo
I make Veggie "sausage" rolls at Christmas using chestnut puree and mushrooms from a recipe by the lovely Rose Elliot. Also somewhere I have a recipe for a "raised pie" using split peas which I could look out...but I'm guessing that neither of these will fit your bill "sausage wise"
quickcluck
I found a box of sos mix in the cupboard so I might give that a go...... I have tasted veggie haggis years ago, did it taste like stuffing????
