Pro - Does anyone else's nest boxes get soaked in rain?

Does anyone know if you can attach a cube directly to the Omlet WIR? I have a cube without a run and was wondering if I would have to buy the cube run in order to attach it to the Omlet WIR. If I do, it increases the price to be more than buying a standard WIR. There don't seem to be many second hand runs advertised for sale these days.

You need the standard cube run in order to be able to open the roof and hence the back. The other option would be to put cube inside?

Our is directly attached to our Omlet WIR...we just have to lift the roof off as you can't slide it forward but it's no bother at all

I've got a spare cube run extension for the other cube, which does have a run, so I'm wondering if I bought the back and sides for underneath the cube I can use that. What do you think? Otherwise, I'm happy to lift the roof off if that's the only problem of having it directly attached.
