Cinnamon
Well the last of Cleo's stuff goes today - we are hoping it will all fit into her Hobbit Hole!. There DOES seem to be a fair amount left in her room, but we are clearing it away into the loft & redecorating to make it into a nice spare room The Husband wanted to make it into a Gym Its been a pretty traumatic couple of weeks all told, with Cleo's departure, the anniversary of a horrid time we had last year & yesterday the sudden death of a close friend, but we are trying to carry on looking forward. Things always come in three's, don't they?

The Dogmother
How traumatic for you all - good that you can look forward and keep positive though Sarah. I think I'd need to borrow the monster dumper truck from work when Madam moves out. Edited May 14, 2013 by Guest

Seagazer
Hey Seagazer, my DD (the Lurker) is about to move to the Netherlands too; to work and live with her lovely cloggie bf and to make music. She too is leaving the contents of her first 21 years behind in a still messy bedroom! My darling children mock me as I have cried each and every time I've stuck one on a train or dropped one off in halls... Being a mum brings out whatever is good in me and I don't know who I am without a child or 4 around. I'm dreading my DSs moving on next year! I didn't cry when we left her at uni as she was so happy. I cried all the way back from Valencienne when we left her for her 3rd year of her degree. I think she needed to move out last year as she needed her independence. She did want to work either in Australia or America and I think she might have ended up settling if she went to either of those countries. She is on the look out though for a boyfriend so who knows what might happened in Amsterdam
