beach chick
who's planning to watch? I think I might have to, tho I'm not sure I can stand too much of him talking... on the other hand I look forward to hearing about the dignified silence he has kept for the last year. Posh had a character assasination on This Morning today: general verdict: "she thinks she's much funnier than she is..."! also that it was her behind the LA move, she said they were going and that was that. presumably $50 million might also have been a bit of an incentive. Prongs
I wont watch it - he's a great football player and has done great for England but he drives me mad! So does Victoria!

Popcorn
Well, I can actually say this and mean it.... I'm watching paint dry!! (trying to cover up blue paint in the bathroom with white - on third coat and arms are killing!!) Not for me. He's become something other than a footballer and I cannot be doing with his silly wife. Charlottechicken
I think I will watch it, it is my wind down hour so I need something vacuous and easy on the brain I watched the VB programme too, it wasn't "major" as she kept describing everything, but very minor
Couperman
Ohhh, I thought this thread was about Lager! Last time I saw Becks it was an empty bokkle, I like the look of the new Becks Vier which I fink is German for four, I prefer the the English version 5 - 1! Kev. Guest
I watched both this and Victoria last week. I have very little interest in either of them or the whole cult of celebrity - I thought it would be amusing to see their eccentricities and giant egos. In her case it certainly was all ego and show. He seemed more grounded and I found myself being surpised at how interesting he came across. In his documentary, as hers I found her totally false and over concerned with her image. I wondered afterwards about their "touchingly normal" relationship with their kids. I wondered if it was true or just part of their media hype. I think he will enjoy the football out there and she will enjoy the cult of celebrity LA is totally the perfect place for her.

susiepoos
I watched both of them and I was mindful that Victorias had been slagged off in the States but when I watched it I realised that she was just having a laugh and the whole thing was very tongue in cheek - did you realise that the American PA was an actress? The Americans just don't get our sense of humour - it's totally lost on them. Davids was much more interesting and he came over as a really nice bloke. I don't dislike them - some things they do wind me up - I mean, does she really need to work with all that money - of course she doesn't but she maybe one of those women who enjoy doing something - strange as it may sound Anyway it was 'throw away' TV as usual - prior to that did anyone watch the River Cottage Treatment - now that was interesting TV
