Bought two yesterday amd knew that Louise would be vile to them but did not reckon on her being so upset! They all behaved in the eglu overnight but she has been wailing and hiding behind me all day except when she has nipped out to harry them. The white light sussex cross seems to particularly upset her even tho it does nothing wrong and tries to avoid her. Both Millie and Ruby are still quite young and are happy together. Any advice?? I'd keep a close eye on them for the next few days - they should be ok as long as there is no major feather pecking. Louise still has her beak out joint but the other two seem happy enough to ignore her. I've made sure there is another rainproof area besides the Eglu run and put down more food. chickanne Posted May 21, 2013 Author Share Posted May 21, 2013 My OH says he lives with 4 bird-brains after watch me sit in the run with my flask of coffee at 9.00 to check they put themselves to bed in an orderly fashion. On Sunday night Ruby and Millie refused to follow Louise in (can you blame them?) and had to popped in thro' the side door when I got exasperated. Last night I sat with Louise on my lap until the Newbies put themselves in. She was disgruntled about this as she was clearly dying to get to bed. I then let her walk in on her own and was most relieved that they all stayed in with just a bit of a squark and a wimper. Think we are getting there .....
