Ammonia smell in coop-first time owner

My 2 chicks have different colour legs. One has a very light pair and other rather dark. I don't suppose thats

relevant at all?

 

Any ideas?

But if its any cosolation they are easier to sex than Silkies about 6 weeks you should have an idea

In my limited experience when I've had dark and light legged crossed chicks I've found that the girls take on the dads leg colour and vice versa.

 

So if you had an Araucana dad and a Leghorn mum (for example) the girl would have the black legs and the boy the yellow. (Well worked for Persil and Ariel).
