Alis girls Posted May 25, 2013 Share Posted May 25, 2013 Been feeling low due to personal reasons and heavy workload at work. OH and I left kids at home and went to Herts show. Did anyone go? I have never been to one. I knew the people we got out last girls from would be there so did a mini video on my phone to show them First stop poultry tent - chicken heaven. some beautiful girls and boys and lovely ducks too. The smaller cockerels seem to be the noisiest there were some lovely eggs as well. OH insisted on taking photos of me next to some of them. Husband likes goats so we indulged him for a while next door. Eventually found our supplier and showed her the vid at which point I think the poor gal thought I was mad. coco Posted May 25, 2013 Share Posted May 25, 2013 Its not just you, I was in my local plant nursery today, we had paid for the plants and poor OH is waiting to go as he was dying to home to the loo and I'm chatting away to the lady that owns the nursery as she keeps chickens and was showing me her chickens on her phone. Now? Have acquired 19 within a few months, and have me out in the morning in my pj's checking, counting and feeding/watering and so on........love them.
