Chicken deficient
Just been searching through old posts about cube runs. Is the end door panel the same size as a side panel, so that they are interchangeable? Has anyone tried it? I don't fancy taking it all apart just to find it doesn't...but if it does, that would be blooming marvellous and open up a whole host of alternative cube location options! Patricia W
Yes, you can and I'm sure someone ( Falkor?) has done so. I've thought about it but not done it yet!
Chicken deficient
Ooo good! (Rubs hands together and starts plotting).
Chicken shack
I wanted a side entrance door but wanted to keep the front door also. I bought a door panel. Removed the middle side panel. (I have 3 run extensions). Turned the panel upside down so that the curved top part became the anti fox skirt. (They don't send that). The panel is slightly wider than the side panels and overlaps slightly but this is not a problem. Fixed it in place. Job done. If you only want to swop them I think you will find the side panel to narrow to fit the front. Have a measure up first. Omlet do sell extra panels that may take up the space. Chicken deficient
Oh well. It would have been excellent if it was a straight swap. I'm surprised Omlet didn't design it so that the door location could be altered - it would make it much more garden friendly.
chuckmum6
I have done this for years, I have the large door in the side, I just replace one standard side panel for the door. I have kept the small door at the end. I think I did post pictures.
