onion prep without tears.

I wish i'd known this before. Peel the onion but don't cut off the ends until all the onion is done. Then cut off the ends, cut in half if it's a biggun and put in bowl with 3 or 4 tbspns of water. Microwave for about 4 minutes. Then when it's cool enough you can chop it up. Still a bit fumey but nothing like when they are raw and it tasted quite sweet.
