harryissy
We got 2 young cream legbars at the end of June and one of them, Ruby, laid her first egg [under the hedge!] a couple of days ago. It was a beautiful sky-blue colour, and imagine our surprise when we discovered it was a double-yoker!! The colour is much prettier than those laid by our Columbine, Mabel. We are just wondering when Ruby's sister, Ayla, is going to start laying and what colour she will produce!

It was a huge egg and brought tears to my eyes.....as she is only a little hen! Very yummy.....probably a complete fluke!!
