My lot were last wormed first week of September so in theory are due another lot now. They are in a wir with 1-2 hours free ranging at this time of year if they are lucky, more like an hour most days. Some of them are on the moult and one in particular the infamous Darthveda is nearly 4 years old and is on her first moult and it is a major one! I think the worming takes it out of them, so do I keep up worming schedule and worm now or wait a while? Worming with flubenvet in with it premixed in Marriages pellets.

I don't worm if any of the birds is under the weather or having a bad moult - leave it until they are on top form.

Thanks DM. It is typical though, I bought the pellets a couple of weeks ago to be organised and now I don't need them! I think the use by date is mid December and I doubt Darthveda will be back to her full splendifourous self by then.

They will all be needing to eat , otherwise they will miss the benefit. I'd keep my eye on them, and try to use the food before then - I'm sure a week or two later won't hurt.
