Shabby chic I am the same, I panic straight away. Think my vet thinks I'm cuckoo. I blame it on the fact we don't have kids.

This experience has definitely taught me a lesson, i will not bring new girls into the flock. I will be hatching my own in the spring and will be getting them vaccinated. Does anyone know of any breeders I can get eggs from? X

Oh I have three kids and when they were tiny if they were unwell I would give them a spoon on calpol and send them on their way but my dogs and chickens??? I am positively neurotic! Is it because they can't say how they feel? Is it because we attach human emotions to them? Who knows

I even have 2 vets....a doggie vet and a chicken savvy vet?? What's that all about
