libby22 Posted January 4, 2014 Author Share Posted January 4, 2014 Hi. It has been disappointing and such a shame really. Seems that the order was split into two some how. I got the first lot on 21 December, which was due on 23 December and then the rest arrived on 31 December! However, Omlet had no idea where the rest was when I enquired inbetween, and weren't able to offer any assistance. I think if they could have said - it is on the way bear with us - I would have waited, but as they didn't know and couldn't help further, I have just arranged to have it picked up again. They can't come until 9 January and whereas they are so helpful usually, they haven't offered any further information or when I will get my refund. I gather it is after the run is picked up - can't imagine they will let the run out of their hands and refund me, which I can't blame them for. I did drop them an e-mail to say perhaps the fault lay with the courier company, as Omlet had always delivered such excellent customer service in the past. I just got an e-mail back saying thanks for letting us know, it will be picked up on 9 January. With the staff coming and going over the Christmas and new year holiday, they sort of lost track of the order and didn't seem inclined to check. They just said - that has gone missing. I asked the courier driver and he said the items had been despatched in one go, but they had found it after the holiday in an area where it shouldn't have been. One good investment I did make was the clear tarpaulin that goes over two sides and the roof - it is just brilliant and has made all the difference to the old pen.
