Purplemaniacs
I ordered a last minute present from Amazon and it said delivery today. This morning I had an email from DPD to say it will be delivered today, great I thought as I knew I had left it late. But now I have had an email to say sorry it will be delivered Friday I said to OH does that mean someone couldn't be bothered to put it on the delivery van and wanted to finish early today which I can understand. It is just getting two email that contradict themselves within a couple of hours of each other which is really annoying. And a DPD van has just driven past Sorry I will go and have a lie down now Chrissie
bluekarin
That is very annoying! I would contact them about it. I am in a similar boat in that ordered something from ebay which was meant to be with me by 23rd at the latest. But now when I look at the persons ebay page they are away until 6th Jan! No contact or anything My daughter will understand, but its not the same. My first ever neutral or even neg feedback might be left soon
Old Speckled Hen
This is a much better reason for avoiding AMAZON....sorry it's the Daily Mail but..... This article simply shows the tip of the iceberg http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2382800/Tagged-bosses-zero-hour-Amazon-workers-Employees-guaranteed-income.html
welovemarmite
Interesting reading about DPD. I spoke to one of the drivers the other day as he was in the village but not with my parcel which was due later that day. Bascially all the correctly labelled ones go out to a owner/driver around here. Any where the address is a bit dodgy (some computers regularly forget our village in the address) get sent out with one of the e'ees. so we can end up with two dpd vans in the same village on the same day.
