HarrisonFamily
We live out in the country and have a lovely garden that back onto a RSPB nature reserve.... are garden has wire fences down both sides.... There has always been a animal made path through the middle of all the gardens...the animal just bites through the fence each side and wander through ....if you block the hole another appears a little further down.. We borrowed a night camera and got pictures of badgers, foxes and cats using the holes in the fence on the first night Unfortunately, the dog is now sneaking through the holes into next door... I would hate a wooden and it seems pointless buying a new fence.... Any ideas on how to train the dog to not escape (I can leave the garden gate open and door open and he will not go out but seems fascinated going next door ....) or any other ideas on allowing wildlife through and keeping dog in..... Thank you
Grandmashazzie
What about electric fencing.I confess to not knowing much about it.My sister lives surrounded by farmers with sheep and has a wayward boxer and she swears by it.the dog wears a special collar and gets shock when he goes close to boundary of garden.I wouldn't use it myself but sis had no other option in case dog was shot by farmer.
