Does anyone know if the glugs will fit to standard aviary wire with the rectangular shape? I haven't got an eglu (yet!) but want to save space In my run plus the chooks keep knocking over their water.

Not sure to be honest but have you tried fitting a gravity water feeder from run roof so it's just off the floor? I have a glug on the eglu run but an extra on hanging. They seem to prefer dirty puddles and drops of water dripping from the run...silly girls:)

Omlet make a stand for their glugs and grubs. Don't thinks themed fit on standard aviary wire.

You could try cable ties I suppose. I use them for most jobs

No the glugs and grubs only fit Omlet wire which is VERY annoying.

 

I had 2 stands (1 fell apart after a couple of months) and found them a nuisance to position in a convenient way to allow the girls access to both sides of the stand. A friend of mine rigged up a gizmo using a metal drawer runner on a baton which was screwed to the run (wooden run).

Problem is have tried hanging from the roof but they must lean against it and the water all runs out. On the floor if it tilts it runs out. Knocked whole thing over x 3. Can only think glugs would solve problem. Anyone have any other ideas?

I keep going on on about my wet a chook. They have been the answer to everything for me, but a bit of an investment. Maybe you could look at them and see if you have any ideas of your own, it's a very simple design
