Pro - Does anyone else's nest boxes get soaked in rain?

Hubby built me this fantastic WIR, life is going to be so much easier now, we used plastic pallets on the ground covered with a porous membrane and then the wood chip so hopefully water will drain through.

 

I only have six girls so they have plenty of room but still pester to come out when they see me. Incubator is on so hopefully will have some new babies, I will section off one end until they are big enough to mingle.

WOW - that is some set up you have now! and what a handy hubby you have too to have built it all - the drainage arrangements ound very innovative. Your girls are very lucky.

Thats amazing where can i get a hubbie like that ???? also is that bark or wood chip on your floor as needing some but want to just be able to pick some from a shop not order it so wondering what you have ???
