Mrs_B
I had a look if there was a topic for this, so I apologise if I've missed it. There's been a topic (http://club.omlet.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=97010) about the M62 crash, but there's a group called Justice for Hens who have a petition to have the true story of the cruelty the hens endured investigated further - I am sure people on here would be interested in knowing about it. People are still finding hens in the area! The video an eye witness (think it was one of the Justice for Hens ladies) on the previous topic is very upsetting so I hope something positive comes from this petition. Petition on change.org with further info: http://www.change.org/en-GB/petitions/the-rt-hon-owen-paterson-mp-secretary-of-state-for-environment-food-and-rural-affairs-and-bbc-news-justice-for-hens-cover-the-true-story-of-the-m62-hen-lorry-crash?recruiter=58965220&utm_campaign=twitter_link&utm_medium=twitter&utm_source=share_petition I don't run this group at all - just follow them x
Guest
Signed, such a sad story I hate all factory farming it is utterly barbaric to treat animals in such a horrific way. I hope the hens that were rescued enjoy their new lives.

bluekarin
I have signed and shared it too. What a horrible time for those poor chickens The only small blessing was they crashed where they did and those two ladies doing all they could for as many as they could.
