Alis girls
Last night put the girls all 2 of them to bed. Now I'm due to get 2 more when we are started on WIR or we may get before. Went to garage to get something - glanced over to Eglu and theres Maggie May looking troubled. You've guessed I had shut her out of living quarters and shes looking quite anxious and perplexed. I wish I could have got a photo - quite po faced she was - probably been shut out for about an hour. Now does Morehens make you more dippy and forgetful or is it the menopause? I suspect she would have found somewhere to sleep. But recently we've realised theres foxes around so not sure if she would survive the night. Today counted them in 1,2 . It was the look on her face - priceless. I have been in bed before and realised back of Eglu is off. Oh dear what am I like. Thank goodness I dont have a flock to look after. Chortle Chook
I always remember the look of one of my little Polands who I accidentally shut in the garden shed. I had been looking for her everywhere when it came to chicken shut up time, and then suddenly saw this little face looking out of the shed window with an expression that was totally indignant
Mrs_B
Hahaha I can imagine the look! Chickens definitely have expressions and you can tell what they're thinking, I don't care what anyone says x
Firescorpion
I always say goodnight to mine and I swear they say goodnight back all at the same time in a low chickeny noise that actually sounds like goodnight
