theherd123
Bumper bits are always great to have in esp if the pecking gets out of control. You can buy them from the Wernlas Collection. Send a few stamps in an envelope to the lady there and she will send you back some bumper bits. They only cost about 10p each and so sending her the stamp covers the cost of them. Hope this helps

geb0205
Hmm, I'v just done this. Got 2 new banties (9 and 11 weeks, now about 12 and 15 weeks) to add to my exsisting 2 bantie babes, both 1 yr old. Oldies didnt take kindly at first, and due to size of littlies, I kept littlies in the eglu run, and big girlies had the garden to free range for 2 weeks. They could meet, and all ate together (i put the grub on the outside of the run for the biggies, and the littlies had their own feeder). All treats fed together. 3rd week, littlies had a big wire pen and eglu instead of eglu and run, run now dismantled, and the girls could all interact better. They were let out for half a day at a time to free range all together for a week. There were squabbles and peckings, but nothing too bad. Each pair kept themselves to themselves. This week, week 4, all is ok and the littlies appear to be respecting the biggies! I didnt ever think I would get here! there is still the odd squabble, but nothing TOO bad,

Ladylucan
When i brave it i will. I desperately need to cut the wings of the Polands before they go anywhere, as they are flying around the cage like its an aviary!!!!!.
