angriesthedgehog
recently I posted asking about this chap/chapette on the sexing section... half seem to say male and half female (I am at a loss lol) It is 8 months and since I have had it, he/she seems to go through the motions of crowing but makes no sound whatsoever. The def ladies dont do this? Is it poss its a proto -crow or just a weird stretch. This guy is confusing me so much!
Purplemaniacs
Do you have any other cockerels? Chrissie
sjp
my youngest cockerel took 12 months to learn to crow he's about 14 -15 months old and still can't do it properly but he was in with a slightly older lad until he was about 8 months old the older one isn't very good at crowing for all the practice he gets
Sentiant
Hi there, does he do this constantly?
Clucky the Great
I met 2 half male, half female chooks last week and neither of them were crowing at 37 weeks, so is it a really quiet noise (like the hens I've laid an egg song) or no noise?
