Pro - Does anyone else's nest boxes get soaked in rain?

Does anyone know if there is a way of buying a prepaid flexible ticket for unlimited travel around the UK for a set period like one or two weeks for a holiday? I would love to travel around the country but not be tied to specific trains all booked in advance. It looks as if you can buy one if you are an international traveller coming to the UK but not from within the UK.

I have no idea but it will be worth asking at a station - as nearly every deal I have found on line is cheaper when bought at the station....

Is that Britrail? It seems a shame that British people can't buy it- not that I could see anyway. You can use contactless cards in London now if that idea helps at all.

There is some sort of Europe travelcard and I guess we're part of that, but it might be for students.

The travel cards seem to be only for under 26 and over 60 neither of which we fall into. We are looking at traveling up to Scotland in stages during February half term to see our son and celebrate OH's 50th.

I have found if you know the date in advance you can get some real deals via thetrainline.com - my husband travelled from Rochester via London to Plymouth for £17 cheaper than a single ticket to London !!
