lovelyelm
Hi all, I've only had chickens for a month (2 ex batts) and have an eglue go up. I've been moving it each weekend but the lawn already looks like a patchwork quilt! I want to creat a static run and like everyone here I have flooring questions! Has anyone tried these to go under the hemp/woodchips? Would it work as it seems the bugs and worms would get up through and the water would drain out?? The Dogmother
I would just save money and slab under the litter in the run - that's what I have. They enjoy scratching through the Aubiose, but it is easy to clean, don't forget to put kickboards or corrugated plastic lawn edging around your run to stop them kicking the litter out. My lawn is meshed under the grass; it stops the combination of hens and dog from wrecking it. Comes on a massive roll and is very easy to lay.
