Guest
Take sexy underwear!! Seriously though, I haven't been to Dublin, but have a magical, wonderful, second honeymoon of a time. Savour every minute, take lots of photos, so you have something to daydream about once you get home and back into the hectic routine Happy New Year

Diana1
I put on half a stone when I went to Dublin . I went with a group and found myself drinking pints of guiness..........oh its devine so different from uk guiness - didn't bother with lunch as two pints of guiness was enough. We went to a pub somewhere at the top of Grafton Street. It was shoulder to shoulder and you had to squeeze into the door but as soon as you entered you were served by a man standing on the bar. The bar was worn by years of foot pressure, like an old step. You'd pass your money over the heads and your guiness would be passed back. On a cultural note - excellent galleries and musuems it wasn't all guiness. I love Dublin and the Irish. Have a great time. One day I'll take my husband there. thehallfamily
Thanks for the advice...looks like I don't need to worry about shifting a few pounds before I go.. It was always going to be difficult loosing weight this time of year but if I am going to eat my way through Dublin I willjust throw the diet book away! The sexy undies might need to be Big Bridget Jones's though!
