Space Chick
In am rather excited about this concept One of the seed catalogues were offering a "mystery veg" package... 150 plugs for £20. We couldn't resist and have ordered I can't wait to see what we get now
Daphne
You are braver than me....knowing my luck I'd end up with a selection of cabbages topped off with some Jerusalem artichokes, both of which are my least favourites
Valkyrie
last time I did a surprise packet of seeds I got lettuce, and another time some tomatoes that I knew we didn't like, so were wasted really. But you never know - could be some fun stuff I hope.
sjp
rule of thumb with the mystery pack offers is that the packs sent are nearly always they ones that aren't selling or the ones that are cheap to grow i.e. they have a lot of seed for. with a few good thing that are a little bit to far advanced for that particular week when they send out your order that said I've brought the bedding plant mystery packs from T&M and never been disappointed and before the industry brought out this horrible new plug plant strips I ended up with double the amount of plants on more than one occasion after I've separated the multiple seedlings in the plugs I wont buy the vegetable ones through as I'm fussy about the verities I grow and I don't particularly won't salad crops or brassica plants as I prefer to grow brassicas myself
