patsylabrador
Quick visit to Derbyshire. Visited Eyam which I love, Bakewell and stopped over in Castlton. Unbelievably lucky with the weather although something weird happened to my heel going up a hill. It felt like someone sliced through it with a knife. Going to have to think about that. Castleton is small but boasts six pubs, an American Diner, a castle, a Medieval ditch boundary and the most beautiful scenery. We spent a happy and idyllic evening there. I think it was good we were there midweek though. I thought everyone was super friendly until I realised that every sentence was finished off with 'my love', still I think it's friendlier than London where every sentence is finished off with nothing at all. Alis girls
I expected a night scene. And sentences normally finish "me duck" - I know cos I spent my childhood in Derbyshire.
