Chickabee
Just bought 2 gorgeous Campbell's ducklings. One apricot and one khaki. Got loads of advice from the shop, just wondered if there are any pearls of wisdom I need to know Edited June 28, 2015 by Guest

Chickabee
The apricot one is 2 weeks the other is 3. I'll google it. I can take a pic tomorrow too. Sonya
Chickabee
Have googled it. It seems it's made due to a genetic modification. I've got a GM duck, do you think I'll get any protestors at my door. . I bet "Ooops, word censored!"ody will say no to her eggs
Cat tails
If you read what I have read, it said something in the line of: we added a single blue gene and from this we derived apricot. It doesn't actually mean you have a GM duck... Sorry... They have bred a bird without the blue gene with a bird with only one blue gene (so mom was blue, dad was khaki). Actually adding single genes to animals in the GM method is very difficult and lengthy process... Not something people would undertake just to make a different colour duck I'm afraid. But nonetheless looking forward to seeing pictures! I love ducklings!
